India's first medal : 

49-kg weight lifting women's: MIRABAI Wins Silver(🥈 )medal

Archery Mixed Team:

Deepika Kumari-Pravin Jadhav lost to Chinese Taipei 5-3 to make the quarterfinals (at 11:04AM IST).

10m Women's Air Rifle:

Elavenil Valarivan and Apurvi Chandela are out at qualification, finishing 16th and 36th, respectively.

Men's Hockey Pool A: 

India beat New Zealand 3-2 in its first match.

10m Men's Air Rifle:

 Saurabh Chaudhary qualifies first. Abhishek Verma out at qualification, finishing 17th.

Men's singles Badminton: 

Sai Praneeth lost 2-0.

Archery Mixed Team:

 Deepika Kumari-Pravin Jadhav lost to Korea's An San and Kim Je Deok in the quarterfinals.

Men's Singles Tennis: 

Sumit Nagal beats Uzbekistan's ISTOMIN Denis (6-4, 6-7, 6-4) and moved to next round.
